Jump Factory Leisure Limited have taken a 10 year lease on Unit B Rutherford Road from Opalstar Limited. The 18,000 sq ft warehouse is detached and sits on a 0.96 acre site on the Daneshill Industrial Estate just off Basingstoke’s ringroad.
“We are very excited about opening the first Jump Factory trampoline centre in Basingstoke” says Richard White, Partner at Jump Factory Leisure Limited, “we are confident that this first class facility, as one of the first in Hampshire, will meet the rising demand for trampolining in the area.”
“Timing is everything. The unit went under offer very soon after the previous tenant gave notice and before they vacated” reports James Clay of London Clancy. “The time between the lease finishing and obtaining planning consent for change of use was only a couple of months and dovetailed with Jump Factory finalising their fit-out contracts” continues Clay.
“The indoor trampoline centre, which will include a party room, café and viewing galleries will open in February 2016 and families and athletes will be able to book online as soon as their website is live. www.jumpfactory.co.uk. London Clancy acted for the landlord, Opalstar Limited and the asking rent was £125,000 per annum exclusive.
