Waverley Borough Council, advised by Curchod & Co and Lambert Smith Hampton, has let 12,500 sq ft of offices at Wey Court East, Union Street, Farnham in Surrey to the Downing Street Practice. The three-storey town centre office has 31 car parking spaces, and the transaction marks a strategic move for the Farnham-based NHS practice.
Nick Reeve of Curchod & Co highlighted the dual benefits of the transaction, saying, “The letting creates a valuable long-term investment for the local council that will help fund local services. At the same time, the letting enables the surgery to relocate to modern premises that will enable them to service the local community effectively.”
Tim Shaw from Lambert Smith Hampton added, “It’s a win-win for the town and the local economy. The modern facilities at Wey Court East are perfectly aligned with the evolving needs of patients and the wider community, and the surgery’s relocation enhances the delivery of healthcare services.”
Wey Court East is a prominent semi-detached three-storey office building constructed in a Georgian style with traditional brick and slate and is in a prominent and accessible position, making it an ideal location for the Downing Street Practice.
