Curchod & Co helps The FSE Group secure a new office in Fleet, Hampshire

Curchod & Co has assisted The FSE Group (FSE), a provider of market-gap funding for high-growth businesses, to identify and acquire a new headquarters office property in Fleet, Hampshire.

Previously located at the Meadows Business Park in Camberley since 2007, the business had outgrown its existing property and required a modern, well-located office with good parking and a high energy performance rating.

To assist it in its search, FSE retained commercial property consultant Curchod & Co to identify a suitable property within the Blackwater Valley area, on the borders of Surrey and Hampshire.
Having undertaken an extensive market search, Curchod & Co identified an off-market opportunity in Linea House on Ancells Business Park in Fleet, close to Junction 4a of the M3 motorway.

It then negotiated a five-year lease on behalf of FSE. The agreement included some upgrades to the energy performance of the suite, including new LED lighting and electric charging points.

Karen Karaahmet, Head of People and Places at The FSE Group, said, “As part of our growth strategy we required a larger property, allowing us to strengthen our central support team to facilitate the launch of new regional funds throughout 2023 and into 2024. With ESG at the core of our business, we needed an office that was energy efficient, modern and in a highly accessible location. We were very pleased that Curchod & Co’s market knowledge helped identify a property not on the open market, enabling us to secure a property that fulfilled our needs going forward.”

Nick Reeve of Curchod & Co, said, “While it may appear to be a good supply of office space available at the current time, the reality is that in any given size band, there are often only a few properties available. With very specific requirements, such as those of FSE, the choice can be even more limited, and we were pleased to have assisted our client in securing the property.
