Flavia Estates, advised by Curchod & Co, has sold the freehold investment of Castle Street Market, three detached retail kiosks located at the junction of Castle Street and The Borough in Farnham, Surrey, the town’s principal retail area, for £715,000.
The investment of the three kiosks, which are fully let on traditional leases, plus the market stall, which is let on flexible, short-term licences, was purchased by a private investor.
Nick Reeve of Curchod & Co said: “The market kiosks and stall are prominently situated in one of the most well-known Georgian streets in southern England.
“The availability of these iconic retail properties, in a prime location at the heart of Farnham’s historic town centre, attracted a great deal of interest from potential purchasers, and this was reflected in the eventual sale price.”
The purchaser was not represented in the transaction.
