Acting on behalf of Smith & Williamson, one of the UK’s leading accountancy firms, London Clancy have agreed a new lease on the 4th and 5th floors of Cumberland House, Cumberland Place, Southampton.
The deal which sees Smith & Williamson taking the top two floors of Cumberland House totalling 7,278 sq ft represents one of the largest lettings in Southampton City Centre this year. Chris Ridge of London Clancy who acted on behalf of Smith & Williamson commented:
“Securing a new lease for Smith & Williamson at Cumberland House has been a culmination of an 18 month period of space and market analysis both in the city centre and out of town locations. Identifying accommodation that satisfies all of the key criteria for Smith & Williamson has been a challenge in a market where there is a shortage of grade A space. We are delighted that we have been able to agree terms in Cumberland House on behalf of our client”.
Head of Smith & Williamson’s Southampton office, Richard Green, commented:
“We are delighted to have found good quality space for the business that keeps the firm at the heart of Southampton and look forward to moving in during the autumn”.
