Double Letting at Newton Park, Andover, Hampshire

DOUBLE LETTING AT NEWTON PARK IN ANDOVER, HAMPSHIRE

A private investor, advised by London Clancy, has concluded two industrial property lettings, totalling 10,737 sq ft at Newton Park in Andover, Hampshire.

Units 1 and 2 Newton Park are located within a popular trade unit and industrial scheme on the Portway West Business Park.

Unit 1, which totals 8,850 sq ft of industrial property, has been taken by a private business on a new ten-year lease. The unit occupies a prominent position on the estate and is well specified with a large loading door, 3-phase power supply, first-floor offices and an additional mezzanine floor.

At Unit 2, a 1,887 sq ft semi-detached industrial property, a new five-year lease, has been agreed with Trek20, a campervan conversion and customisation specialist, at an annual rent of £8.48 per square foot.

Keith Enters of London Clancy said: "These lettings confirm the strength of the industrial market in Andover. The letting of Unit 1, which was agreed, off-market, before the property could be launched, demonstrates the demand for industrial property of this nature and size.

“The letting of Unit 2, to a new and aspiring business, also confirms the confidence that businesses have in the town as a dynamic location for commerce.”

Both tenants were unrepresented in the transactions.
