Curchod & Co secures Blackwater Valley’s largest office deal so far in 2022

Acting on behalf of a major corporate occupier, Curchod & Co, has assigned 9,800 sq ft of office accommodation at Spectrum Point, the prominent office property adjacent to Farnborough railway station, Hampshire to Whistl, the logistics and parcel delivery business.

Whistl has taken the second-floor accommodation on an assignment of a lease at an annual rent equating to £24.60 per square foot.

Nick Reeve, Partner of Curchod & Co LLP, said: “As we emerge from the worst of the pandemic there has been a renewed interest and demand for quality office space that allows businesses to create healthy work environments that encourage staff back to the office while also allowing flexible and hybrid working practices when needed.

“Spectrum Point, with its superb accessibility, is certainly one of the best buildings in the area and the transaction represents the largest office letting in the Blackwater Valley market so far in 2022,” he added.

Whistl was unrepresented in the transaction.
